Dear Friend in Lord Yeshua!
Shalom and warmest greetings to you. Thank you very much for your prayers and faithful support of this work to reach to the Jew first (Romans 1:16) and in the same, equal way all lost people for The Messiah. Because everyone needs Lord Jesus who is only the way to be saved, both for the Jews and none Jews.
We read in Deuteronomy 6:10, 12: “So it shall be, when the Lord your God brings you into the land of which He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give you large and beautiful cities which you did not build.”; “then beware, lest you forget the Lord who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.”
It seems to me, that the Lord wanted to teach Israelites many things from the His Word. One of them is to have a thankful heart. It happens very often, that in our everyday life we do not count our blessings, but have bitterness inside from different problems. I am praying for you and for me that we will not miss thankfulness to the Lord for everything He is doing in our lives. In the time of Thanksgiving I am grateful, that I have you as my faithful partner and supporter.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7).
The thankful heart is so dear to God that He fulfills this promise of inexplicable peace in a matter of seconds, minutes or hours – and continues on for days, weeks, months and years. When teaching Beth-El Congregation that the living God actually, really, truly, honestly, in face works in our own lives to make His principles and promises happen, I have often turned to this Bible passage and encouraged them to pray this way, with thanksgiving , especially for our Lord and Savior Jesus and hope of Salvation in Him. I absolutely know that He will reveal His mercy to us through this.
In the month of October we witnessed to more than 1000 people. In this letter I will write testimonies from October and as well from previous months. The ministry was able to share the Gospel in California, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Washington and Ohio.
In Philadelphia, PA we met and witness to people from Albania, Croatia, Brazil, Nepal, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Israel and more. Most people were Russian speaking Jewish people. Lot of them were open to hear Good News about Yeshua. I remember a Jewish woman, who used to live in Israel. She asked some questions and at the end accepted NT. An Azerbaijani young Muslim also got Jesus DVD movie. Two Arabic Muslim families from Sudan and Syria accepted NT’s in Arabic. We met a Ukrainian catholic young woman. She told us that she does not have Bible, but would like to have it. We gladly gave it to her. A person from Bangladesh received NT on the tape in Bengali. Unfortunately, we also had a serious conflict with couple who tried to stop our evangelism. They tried physically attack us. Police were involved in this situation. After talking with them, we continued to share Gospel.
After a while, we went to preach in downtown Philadelphia. I haven’t had a chance to preach in downtown for few years, so I had a desire to do it. It was surprised me to see so many gay people there. Gay people were aggressive and did not like to hear truth. I even was blessed, because somebody by them spit on me. But we were reminding them about God’s love and hope to be forgiven through repentance and changing styling of a life. After a while a person came to me. It was a woman, a Muslim, who told me that she is a lesbian. I was surprised again. But the woman was accusing me that I had a hate speech saying that homosexuality is a sin and abomination. She asked me to show in the Bible where God says that homosexuality is a sin. I showed her, but she became even more angry and started use F-words on me. Finally, she left.
We are planning to have a Christmas outreach in Philadelphia in December this year, God willing, and will be very appreciative for your prayers.
We especially were blessed in South Caroline, where for the first time in our 20 years history of the ministry, we had an opportunity spread the Word of God. In the city of Greenville, with our new friends from Slavic church, we had a park evangelism. About 30 people came to help me. It was very blessed outreach, even we had an opposition by many unbelievers. Our team prayed for people, and distributed Scriptures. At the end we got a report that few people repented during the Evangelism. Praise God!
