Dear Friend in Lord Yeshua!
Shalom and warmest greetings to you. Thank you very much for your prayers and faithful support of this work to reach to the Jew first (Romans1:16) and in the same, equal way all lost people for The Messiah. Because everyone needs Lord Jesus who is only the way to be saved, both for the Jews and none Jews.
We read in Deuteronomy6:10, 12: “So it shall be, when the Lord your God brings you into the land of which He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give you large and beautiful cities which you did not build.”; “then beware, lest you forget the Lord who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.”
It seems to me, that the Lord wanted to teach Israelites many things from the His Word. One of them is to have a thankful heart. It happens very often, that in our everyday life we do not count our blessings, but have bitterness inside from different problems. I am praying for you and for me that we will not miss thankfulness to the Lord for everything He is doing in our lives. In the time of Thanksgiving I am grateful, that I have you as my faithful partner and supporter.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
The thankful heart is so dear to God that He fulfills this promise of inexplicable peace in a matter of seconds, minutes or hours – and continues on for days, weeks, months and years. When teaching Beth-El Congregation that the living God actually, really, truly, honestly, in face works in our own lives to make His principles and promises happen, I have often turned to this Bible passage and encouraged them to pray this way, with thanksgiving , especially for our Lord and Savior Jesus and hope of Salvation in Him. I absolutely know that He will reveal His mercy to us through this.
In the month of October we witnessed to more than 1000 people. In this letter I will write testimonies from October and from previous months.
In Rochester NY, we went to a city Plaza to share Gospel at a parking lot. We met more than 50 people. Their reaction was different. Most people did not want to hear it. A woman from India said that she does not need Jesus as a Lord because she already has her gods. An another man, also from India, who was wearing a chain with a cross, told us that he believes in all gods and religious, and that why heis wearing the cross. But we thank the Lord that we met some people who were open to listen and take Christian literature. Shortly somebody called security, and we needed to leave after conversation with a security officer.
In Portland OR, we were blessed to witness in 2 areas. First, we went to Lloyd Center mall. We met inside just a one person who accepted Gospel of John in Farsi. It was a young Azerbaijani Muslim girl from Iran. When I started share to her I saw an open heart. She was very interested to know more about Lord Jesus.
We were very happy to share more. Praise God.
After that we went to a downtown area and were preaching in Pioneer Square. People were listening, but some were angry at us. I met an Israeli man there, who was with his son. Almost all time I was preaching he was sitting and listening. But when I tried personally to start a conversation with him, he refused. Very shortly a lesbian woman came close to me and started to sing publicly. I understood that she is doing this especially to interrupt my preaching so people around would not be able hear the Word of God. She had a very strong opera voice, and we chose to change the location. We moved not too far and stopped across a train station where we found a lot of people waiting their trains. I was preaching for more than 1 hour. People became angry and aggressive, when I shared Word of God about sin, repentance, forgiveness, mercy, grace, hope and love of God. They screamed at me, showed middle fingers, threatened that I better stop to preach and leave the place. They became even angrier when I said that homosexual relationship is a sin! Shortly I saw the same lesbian woman who stopped next to us, and again started to sing to interrupt our preaching. I crossed a road, but she followed me. I tried to speak personally with people by reminding them about true love of God, and offering Scriptures, and asking if I may pray for them. Eventually, I came to this woman and we had a short conversation. She told me that her voice of “love” is stronger that my hate speech. I responded that her voice is not voice of love, but voice of lie, that’s why she does not like to hear the voice of truth. I also told her that she serves the evil one, but God loves her and wants to save her. After that we publicly prayed for Portland and left.
