"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also for the Greek" Romans 1:16

Dear Friend in the Messiah,

Shalom and warmest greetings to you. Thank you very much for your faithful support by your prayers and financial giving. It is a privilege for me to write you a letter about the work of the Beth-El. Thank you to be a co-laborers and partners together.

One unknown author said: “For the days are dark and the work is great, and the time is slipping away, so whatever we think of doing for God we had better do it today.” I believe that Jesus is coming very soon. Maybe for us it is the last opportunity to share the good news to the people around. I believe, the best blessing that we can give to the people is to let them know about Jesus as a Redeemer and only the way to be saved because without Jesus, there is no salvation.

In the last month of July, God blessed us to witness to more than 1000 people in a few states. It is always joy when we could share Wonderful News to others and wish to them to be saved.

In Minneapolis MN, we went to share gospel to a stadium, where their team “Minnesota Twins” had a baseball game. We knew that people may be drunk, and become angry, especially if the team would lose. And it is exactly what happened. We were standing not far from an entrance and were sharing Gospel, reminding people about love of Christ. Most people were not interested, other were aggressive, but some opened their hearts. I met a man who told me that he is an atheist. But Lord gave me an opportunity to speak with him for a while. I just shared about God as creator and hope of salvation in Jesus, about heaven and a gift of everlasting life. The man asked lot of questions. I was responding to him. After that he said:” I want to have an everlasting life and be in the heaven”. I responded:” Believe in God and repent in your sins, change style of your life”. Another group of people stopped. I shared to them as well. A young person told me that he likes Jesus. But his friend interrupted our conversation by saying to him that they are friends, and he as a friend needs to believe in Allah because he is a Muslim.  The person was scared of his friend, and his answer was:” Ok. I will believe in both, in Allah and in Jesus.” Now was my turn. I said that it’s not possible believe in both. Only Jesus is Lord and Redeemer. That’s why he needs to decide, Jesus or Allah. Some other people were throwing cups on us, some people were throwing small stuff and hit us from the back. But we were very joyful, because we were sharing the Way of Salvation.

Also , in Minneapolis MN, we were witnessing on a Gay festival. Hundreds and hundreds people were in the downtown and participated in the event. We offered people Bibles, read publicly Scripture, and preached. You could imagine a reaction of most of them. We said to them straight that gay relationship is an abomination and sin, but they could be forgiven, cleansed and saved, by God’s grace. God calls people to repent. Unfortunately most of them were closed for the Gospel.

In an airport I met 3 monks. They knew only few words in English. Praise God that even by gesticulation I tried to show and tell them about Jesus Christ. I also had a card with free app for phones to download Bible in different languages, includes their Laotian language.

I also saw 2 orthodox Jewish people in an airport. One was blind. He put his arms on the shoulder of the first one and followed him. I came to them, and started to talk. The first one was speaking Hebrew. I tried to share Gospel, but when he heard Name of Yeshua, immediately asked me to stop. I said:” No problem”. It was his decision. But interesting thing was that while the first one became angry, the blind man was listening, and smiling. Even he couldn’t see by his blindness, I felt that eyes and ears of his heart were open.

In our Congregation one Jewish woman repented and accepted Lord Jesus the Messiah into her life. She lives in Sankt Petersburg, and was visiting to bury her mother who died in Cleveland recently. We provided her info about a church in her city, and she already left USA. Praise God!

Thank you so much to be partners with us. Please remember that we need very much your prayers and financial support to continue the work. Thank you for praying for my family and our situation and needs.

If God leads you to start or continue to help us financially, please send your donations to the Beth-El Messianic Congregation, P.O Box 360165, Cleveland, OH 44136. All donations are tax deductible

With Love in the Messiah Yeshua

Bethel and bro. Igor. Shalom!

P.S. On July we remembered day of 9 AV. Most tragic events in Jewish history happened on that day (First and Second temples were destroyed, Jews were pressed to leave Spain and some other tragic things). Please pray for Israel and her Salvation. Remember Genesis 12:3 for Christ sake. Shalom!
